Montreal, September 28, 2011 – This winter, V and St-Hubert Rotisseries will present a new show, LA FRANCHISE, where the grand prize winner will walk away with one of the most exceptional prizes ever offered on a Quebec reality show – ownership of a St-Hubert franchise. Airing this winter on V, the show will be produced by Zone 3 and hosted by Isabelle Maréchal, a well established member of the Quebec media scene with extensive television and radio experience.
LA FRANCHISE is a new reality show that follows aspiring entrepreneurs as they compete in a series of weekly challenges, demonstrating their talents to the judges, in an effort to prove that they possess the necessary skills all in the hopes of winning a St-Hubert franchise.
“This pioneering reality show follows the tradition of innovation established by St-Hubert”, says Daniel Cousineau, President of St-Hubert Rotisseries. “We will be proud to welcome the future franchisee into our franchise family. We are looking for candidates with guts, who truly represent the spirit of the St-Hubert brand and who will prove to have the passion, commitment and skills to become one of only 75 St-Hubert franchisees.”
Quebecers featured in the show will not necessarily be industry professionals but will be eager to succeed. Potential candidates are welcome to register now at vtele.ca or st-hubert.com between now and October 23, 2011.
“With LA FRANCHISE, V presents a quality competition with an unique and impressive prize as part of an original Quebec production. The focus will be on entrepreneurship; a core value for us.” said Maxime Remillard, Co-President and CEO of V. “This is a seal of prestige that we are affixing to this new idea, a rare opportunity for our future contestants and of course, a great sign of confidence for V that St-Hubert has collaborated with us in this venture.”
LA FRANCHISE is one of several new additions to V, which has been highly successful since the beginning of the fall season. Last spring V increased its Monday to Friday market share by 34% compared to spring 2010; the fall line up is currently seeing a 25% increase in its prime time market share compared to last year. V intends to continue this growth with other new Quebec shows like The Franchise. LA FRANCHISE will be airing on V in February 2012.
